TagPivot Privacy Policy

This page is the official privacy policy for the TagPivot Chrome extension.

This privacy policy applies to the TagPivot browser extension and its related project pages on newssourcecrawler.com. TagPivot operates locally in the browser and does not include analytics, advertising scripts, or behavioral tracking.

This policy describes how the TagPivot extension handles data. Other projects listed on this site, including future cloud-hosted or marketplace-delivered tools, may include their own privacy notes or product-specific notices.

Data collection

TagPivot does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

The extension may analyze page content locally in the browser to compute tag relationships (for example bridges or counterpoints). This processing happens entirely on the user’s device and is not sent to external servers.

No analytics

We do not use Google Analytics or third-party tracking scripts.

Local storage

The TagPivot extension may store lightweight data locally in the browser using Chrome extension storage (for example tag labels, weights, and structural metrics). This data remains on the user’s device and can be removed by clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting provider may maintain standard server logs (such as IP address and requested pages) for security and operational purposes. These logs are managed by the hosting provider.

If newssourcecrawler.com later provides AWS-hosted product pages, documentation, evaluation flows, downloads, or marketplace-linked materials, the underlying infrastructure provider or delivery platform may also process basic operational metadata needed to serve those pages or requests. Any project-specific hosted service, evaluation flow, or commercial product surface may publish a separate privacy notice where appropriate.
